Supplies:
Instructions:
- gift
- box
- ribbon
- large plain paper
- blank envelope + card
- stamps
- ink pads
- glue stick
- scissors
Instructions:
- Lay large plain paper on a flat surface.
- Steal (okay, okay, just borrow them) stamps and ink pads from your roommate.
- Start with one stamp and colour, + stamp a pattern, evenly spaced, across all of your paper that is spread out.
- Choose a new stamp and/or colour, and repeat step 3.
- Repeat step 3 until your paper is filled with colours + shapes that give you warm fuzzies when you step back and take a look at it.
- Carefully glue the paper to all outside sides of the box, making sure you can still close the lid. Cut off excess paper.
- Neatly place gift inside box (use tissue paper, if you wish).
- Close box + finish off by tying a pretty ribbon around the box.
- Cut a piece of rectangular or square paper that is a bit smaller than the front of the card. Stamp it to match the paper. You don't have to stamp the pattern exactly in the same formation. To give the card a more polished look, I used the same stamp + colour combinations, but arranged them so they made a unified scene within the small space of the rectangle.
- Glue the rectangle to the front of the card.
- Decorate the inside of the card, around the edges, mainly.
- Decorate the envelope to match the card.
- Write a meaningful message in the card + tuck the envelope under the box's ribbon.
- Present the beautiful box to its recipient!
