After moving to the prairies, I realized how much I missed the Pacific Ocean. I don't miss the mountains nearly as much. I miss my ocean! This photo was part of a serious of crashing wave photos I took along the Oregon coast when my sister + I went to visit our grandparents about 2 years ago.

What are you afraid of? Share your fear in the comments. :) Possibly "The Miracle Worker" (Helen Keller). I got a copy in grade 4 as a reward for...something. I'm pretty sure I still have it somewhere. Oh, + also loved reading Nancy Drew novels. My sister had a huge collection of them so I was able to borrow new ones whenever I wanted to. Oh! And the "Best Friends" novel series. I don't think they still sell those in stores, though, but I hope my collection of them is still boxed up somewhere...

Sometimes I do get to places just when God's ready to have somebody click the shutter. | Minor White | Often while traveling with a camera we arrive just as the sun slips over the horizon of a moment, too late to expose film, only time enough to expose our hearts. | Henri Cartier-Bresson | Photographers deal in things which are continually vanishing and when they have vanished there is no contrivance on earth which can make them come back again. What's your favourite quote? Post a comment + share with the rest of us. :) ...I'd use it to buy homeless people lunch, stock up on yarn + patterns, + buy a pile of long-wanted photography equipment, pay off our mortgage, + start up a few businesses. That's only a few of my lofty financial goals. The rest would be put into a savings account.
